Welcome to my website.
A Sacramento, California native, I graduated Stephens College in Missouri and then graduated
University of Arizona, moved to Phoenix but missed the California beaches and ended up in this beautiful area where I have lived for 30 years. After a career at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, I had the opportunity to pursue plein air painting; it soon became a passion rather than a pass time. One of the best things about painting in this part of California is to have the good fortune to study with some of the area's top artists who teach in this exciting field. I have studied art and art history throughout my life and in earlier days, worked in as well as taught stained glass. I designed for other artists in the stained glass field specializing in commission work for clients in the United States, Europe, Canada and Japan. |
